You can call me Bemis.

I'm working on a pretty long post about my Warped Tour experiences at the moment, but as of right now, it's nowhere near complete.
So how about a mini-post to tied you over?

Maxim Adam Bemis is the lead singer of one of my favorite bands of right now. Say Anything.



He's bi-polar, born in New York but raised in Los Angeles, raised Jewish yet his father is Catholic. These opposite parts of him have shown through in his writing and make his music a sort of experience to listen to. You never know what's going to come up next. But it isn't one of those experimental bands where it's all noise and you have no idea what the guy is saying. Well you might not, because let's face it, my demographic right now are my elders. But I love his stuff and love to watch them perform.

I saw them perform at The Grove in Anaheim back in the spring and I spent most of the night dancing and screaming. Currently they are on one of the main stages at Warped Tour and they will be on the entire tour. I saw them in June and will be seeing them again in August.

This is all dandy but the little tid-bit of trivia I'm going to be handing over to you is something I'm quite proud of. In search for Mr. Bemis' current marital status, my friend Erynn and I found that he was the baby in the poster for Raising Arizona. A family favorite here at the McMahon's, I'm sure my dad will be happy!
